We are happy to be a part of this program where 80 families from Salt Spring, Montego Bay, St. James are benefiting from GrowKits prepared by 360 Recycle. These GrowKits includes planters, compost, seeds and seedlings. This project was made possible by funding from Planning Institute Of Jamaica (PIOJ), Canada Fund For Local Initiative (CFLI) and Digicel Foundation with the support of Rural Agricultural Development Agency (RADA) and the 4H Clubs of Jamaica.

80% of the participant/ beneficiaries were females, 60% of which were unemployed. They attended Workshops on climate smart agricultural practices and Agro - Business Training. This was in response to Covid 19 and it's effects on food security, and unemployment, some struggled to care for their families. This project allowed the participants to successfully plant food for their subsistence and to develop a sustainable livelihood through value added products.

The participants also got training from the CEO of FarmLinkr ,Shelly -Ann Heaven who presented to the participants how to use FarmLinkr as a platform to sell their produce.

We held a Farmer's Showcase with a few of the participants and the sponsors to highlight the growth of the products. The participants also had value added products for sale at the event.
